Tree climbing steps: going to prune

It is not easy to climb and prune Khaya trees (up to 134 cm DBH and more than
30 m height). These are dangerous activities but culturally significant!

Pruning intensity and canopy shapes

Khaya senegalensis tree crown shapes correlated with pruning intensity.
Heavily pruned trees showed the Sopoodu, few branches unpruned at the top.
